Good price for accommodation with breakfast included, the guys are nice & did their best to meet our requests. Room was ok in general, fairly comfortable, fairly clean. Overall a decent place to stay & a good value for money if you're not looking for anything fancy & are willing to make a few minor compromises - not a place for the honeymoon of your dreams but just fine for 1-2 nights stay in istanbul on a tight budget. We were just passing by for 1 night & we were ok with our stay here.
The hotel looks more like a shady business than a real hotel from the outside (you can barely tell where the entrance is) but in fact it's ok once you come in. There's no elevator & up to 3 steep floors to climb. The heat in the room did work ok, but it had been off for some time when we checked in and in spite of being on the whole afternoon we had to sleep with our sweaters on (the walls were still cold & only in the morning the room was pleasantly worm). Breakfast is served only starting with 8:30 am (in the room, seems like they don't have a dining area), which can be a problem if you're an early bird & want to start your day early. Location (in Sultanahmet) is a bit of a walk from the Aya Sofia square (some 10mins including a steep hill) so it's not right in the best spot but the walk through that area can be enjoyable & it's ok if you're young. Definitely not recommended for people with physical handicap.

This hotel is well situated (in Sultanahmet area). It's small, but rather nice. The staff is very kind. But if you want to have breakfast ask the day before.

Free Internet access
1. No water at times 2. No heat when cold at night slept with our winter coats on 3. On the 9th floo no elevator and stairs are very tiny and thin easy to fall with railing loose 4. Mold in washroom 5. Staff rude at times and demand cash up front and state if u use credit card it's 18% fee. 6. False advertisement booking stated so many amenities that were never in room 7. Free breakfast never offered 8. Very poor environment I wouldn't let my dogs stay here honestly 9. Celings are low this place is not a hotel by any means 10. I can go on but I will stop for now

Mr. Yusuf is helpful and friendly. Very limited English language. But money and location wise very convenient. Very clean bath room and bed too.
They charge extra 8% for credit card payment which wasn't notice before.

Pleasant helpful staff speaks English as well as Russian; breakfast is served to the room; some rooms have a view of the Marmara sea down the street; clean room, no insects or anything; close to the T1 tram if you have to go to Ataturk airport or across the Golden Horn; Sultanahmet square is 5 min walk from the hotel; a lot of small shops and restaurants around that are open past midnight.
for some people a shower that is not in the separate cabin can be a problem, for us it wasn't;

Great location for tram, close to restaurants, 5 min walk to the blue mosque at the bottom of town. Airconditioning worked well too.
Room servicing was not so thorough.

Great location and good service.
Would be a bit hard to walk up and down the hill, if having a lot of luggage on hand!

I had some doubts at first as a usual thing for hotels in this region but when I arrive and see the quality service all has gone. Thanks Mr. Yusuf.
